When working with power MOSFETs, it’s essential to understand the junction to mounting base (Rth(j-mb)) of the device, but this can often get confused with the Rth junction to case top (Rth(j-case)) due to different vendors using different naming conventions.
We do not feature Rth(j-case) on a Nexperia MOSFET datasheet for this very reason but also due to the minor and major heat paths of the device in real life applications.
