What does a workday look like?
“My workday is never representative of my job as a validation engineer because each day is unique, which I find enjoyable as it prevents boredom.
Due to the hands-on nature of my work in the lab, I am always present at the office. I perform various tests on our IC prototypes to measure their characteristics and ensure the functionality of our newly designed products. This allows me to constantly learn new technical and hands-on skills, as well as improve my soft skills in collaborating with different colleagues.”
And the culture?
“TeamNexperia has so much diversity from age, experience, culture, nationality background, location, gender and expertise. Everyone is embracing each other here. There are also many fun events, such as the @vierdaagsefeesten, of which Nexperia is a premium partner. This event takes place in the summer, and the city of Nijmegen buzzes with people from all over the Netherlands and the world, thanks to the 4Days Marches that take place during that time.
Together with colleagues, we go out to celebrate during these days. It is good for team spirit and a lot of fun.”
