🌟 The Future is Bright at Nexperia: Celebrating Kids’ Future Day 2024!

We’re passionate about shaping the future of sustainable tech, and that includes inspiring the next generation of innovators! That’s why it’s always a huge highlight when we open our doors once a year to welcome employees’ children for a fun-filled day of discovery and learning about the exciting world of semiconductors. Through interactive activities like building a solar-powered boat and learning to program with a Micro:bit Educational Foundation, they explored how the chips we produce power the world around them – from smartphones and tablets to cars and much more.

Sparking an interest in science & technology is crucial for building a brighter tomorrow. We want to empower the next generation of engineers, scientists, and inventors that will shape our world.

It’s an honor to announce that #teamnexperia Malaysia has signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation (APU / APIIT).

This engagement demonstrates Nexperia Malaysia’s commitment to cooperating with educational institutions like Asia Pacific University and providing young people with the skills they need to succeed. Nexperia Malaysia and APU’s Industry-academia relationship exhibits a common vision and dedication to engaging young talent and inspiring them to pursue future careers in the semiconductor industry specifically focusing on the IT field. During a career talk session at APU, our close interactions with the IT students opened up new possibilities for them to engage in final-year projects that add value to the industry, addressing some key challenges in the actual semiconductor world.

Nexperia’s cooperation with APU is consistent with Nexperia’s ideals of continuing to enhance learning by providing varied objectives connected to industry experiences. Nexperia Malaysia will provide internship opportunities, mentorship, and personalized learning journeys to APU students at Degree, Masters, and Ph.D. levels as part of this agreement. We are thrilled to empower and support the next generation of talent, promoting their development and success, while building a strong talent pipeline for Nexperia.

In attendance to celebrate the occasion at APU, KL were Vice President & General Manager, Harith Alvin Abdullah, Human Resource Director, Muhammad Hilman Rao Abdullah, Global IT Senior Director, Adarsha Marpalli and Finance Director, Raymond Chan. 👏🏼The grit of the Veolia Towers Hamburg was on full display as they clawed their way back from a 42-20 halftime deficit to fall just short of securing the win against a game opponent in ALBA BERLIN. We couldn’t have asked for a more inspired performance in our first game as the newest members of the #TowersFamily. The shots will surely fall next time!

A few members of #TeamNexperia had the chance to catch all the action in a sold-out Inselpark arena, and there’s no denying that Hamburg rocks for the Towers. Our COO, Achim, was interviewed on the newly branded half court and managed to keep his concentration despite Willy the Mascot’s best attempts to get him off his game 😂A huge thank you to everyone from the Towers for delivering an epic experience, we’ll be back to cheer you on 30 April against the Hakro Merlins. #LETSGO
